We are seeking to appoint a Lodge Receptionist to play an essential part in the College’s service to its members, students, visitors and guests. This is a very public facing role providing a 24 hour reception service, being the first point of contact for dealing with emergencies, and ensuring the security and safety of people in the College.
This role will offer interest and variety for individuals with a flexible outlook to tasks and will require excellent communication skills, good problem solving abilities and a high degree of common sense. With experience of customer services you’ll have the ability to remain calm, professional and polite under pressure. As the Lodge provides a 24-hour service to College, the successful candidate will be required to take part in a rota, working four 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm; 7pm-7am) followed by four days off.
