Admissions and Access Officer
We are seeking an Admissions and Access Officer to administer our undergraduate admissions exercise, maintain current outreach work, and establish new and imaginative outreach schemes.
The person appointed will be highly organised, and will have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people, from potential applicants to senior colleagues, and a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving. The post will involve developing and running a programme of visits to and from schools and colleges, including residential and day visits to Oxford for staff and students, as well as corresponding regularly with established contacts and building strong new relationships. Excellent customer service skills with experience of responding efficiently and effectively to queries and a clear commitment to and experience of improving customer experience is essential.
The ability to travel within the UK is required, as is the ability to work flexibly, occasionally on evenings and weekends. Benefits of the post include a generous pension scheme, 38 days annual leave and childcare/travel to work schemes.
