10-Hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Law

£21,710 - £24,418 per annum, plus allowances depending on experience

Brasenose College and Worcester College wish to appoint a ten-hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Law from 2nd October 2017 to 30th September 2018. The primary obligation of the stipendiary lecturer will be to teach Land Law and Trusts for the two colleges. Teaching requirements will be five hours per week at Brasenose and five hours per week at Worcester over the eight teaching weeks of each of the three terms which make up the academic year.

The person appointed will be expected to participate in admissions procedures, open days and assist generally in the running of Law in Brasenose, in collaboration with the other two tutorial fellows in law. The person appointed will also be expected to undertake organising responsibilities including the setting and marking Collections, the pastoral supervision of undergraduates, and the other general duties associated with the tutorial system.
