Graduate Scholarships

Worcester College currently offers the following scholarships for graduate study (all awards are conditional on the holder being or becoming a member of Worcester College):

1. The Provost's Scholarships

Eligibility: Students in their final undergraduate year at the Universities of Melbourne, Monash, New South Wales, Sydney and the Australian National University, and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. This is a fully funded scholarship for study as a Visiting Student during the calendar year January to December 2018. Options in all Humanities and Social Sciences subjects.

Closing date: 30 April 2017

2. Martin Senior Scholarship

Eligibility: Home/EU students (undergraduate or graduate) who are already members of Worcester College.  Open to all subjects.

3. Ogilvie Thompson Scholarship

Eligibility: Students who are already members of Worcester College and currently in their final year of undergraduate study or who have taken finals within the last two years but have not undertaken any graduate study since (either at Oxford or at another University).  Open to all subjects.

4. C Douglas Dillon Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility:  All applicants for courses of one or two years’ duration in the fields of Politics, Diplomacy, Governance & International Relations.

Eligibility:  All applicants for courses in the Humanities.

6. Peter Helps Scholarship

Eligibility: Students from Ghana and the West Indies applying for a one-year Master’s course in any subject.

Closing date:  The January deadline for graduate study applications to the University of Oxford (either 6 January 2017 or 20 January 2017 depending on the course applied for).  The applications deadline dates for each course are shown on the individual course page which can be found at www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/courses/courses-a-z-listing

Please note there is no separate application procedure for this scholarship; eligible candidates who apply for graduate study at the University by the January application deadline, in their year of entry, will be automatically considered.

7. Worcester College/Law Faculty Graduate Scholarship 2017/18 (BCL and MJur) 

Eligibility: all applicants for the Bachelor of Civil Law or Magister Juris.
